UN APPROCCIO OLISTICO AI BENI CULTURALI E DEL PAESAGGIO. IL PARTENARIATO PUBBLICO-PRIVATO

The landscape and the cultural heritage represent a whole from a constitutional point of view and exist around man, united by an unavoidable and typical element: "beauty". Beauty understood in its subjective, historical and philosophical meaning, but also as an evocative of amazement and wonder. It is precisely from this point that we should start to design a new approach to the issue of cultural and environmental heritage, overcoming the tendency to ask ourselves, usually, the same dichotomous question in dealing with issues related to the enhancement of landscape or cultural heritage: scientific or managerial approach? In fact, protection, enhancement and use, wanting to give an example that recalls other areas of knowledge, represent three different states of the same matter that live their own life only when they are observed individually.
