UNA DIMENTICATA TAVOLA TARDO QUATTROCENTESCA A MADDALONI. LA MADONNA DI LORETO TRA I SANTI BONAVENTURA DA BAGNOREGIO E ROSA DA VITERBO NELLA CHIESA DI SAN FRANCESCO D'ASSISI

The city of Maddaloni preserves in the church of San Francesco d'Assisi (commonly known as Sant'Antonio di Padova) two interesting testimonies of late fifteenth-century painting: a Madonna delle Grazie, in the fifth chapel on the left, recently returned to Antonello del Perrino by Pierluigi Leone de Castris, and a Madonna of Loreto between Saints Bonaventura da Bagnoregio and Rosa da Viterbo, in the second chapel on the right, unknown to critics and which is presented here.
