COSA ERA DOVE ERA. UNA RIFLESSIONE TERMINOLOGICA PER UN CAMBIO DI PROSPETTIVA

The reconstruction of the great gap in architecture is often conditioned in common sense by slogans and ideological reflections that focus all attention on the restoration of the image. In this short contribution, the author attempts to overturn the dogmatic problem of image restoration (which is theoretically and practically impossible) by illustrating how we should move from the motto "as it was where it was" to a more correct "what was where it was".
